Rare Fire Accident Experience: Shocking Survival Story, Causes, and Safety Tips
Introduction
In this blog, I will describe the rarest accident I have faced when no active elders were present to support the situation. But before diving in, put yourself in my shoes—imagine being in that moment without guidance or help. How would you react? What choices would you make?
Day 1
Around 7 pm, I heard a brick sound that seemed to be falling. After some time, I listened to the same sound, rushed towards the place, and saw a fierce fire, flames falling, and an event. My sibling and I rushed to the terrace to extinguish the fire before it spread, making it complicated to extinguish.
Another interesting event is that there was a lack of water to put out the fire, but somehow, we managed with the water. But it was not enough to put out the fire since the water that we used did not reach the fire spot, and there was a tree, which made the situation more challenging.
After a few hours of trying to put out the fire, we called the fire service, and since we are in panic, we are not able to provide the officials with the exact location. After a few minutes, I received a sms from the service team that the fire truck had departed from the station. We waited a long time and I dialed the number that I got in my sms.
A police officer picked up the call and I enquired about the status of the service and they said that the truck had left the station 10 minutes ago and I ended the call with a thank you. Since it is night time, I used my mobile flashlight to give proper signal to them.
At last, the firefighters came to my home by walking. A team of 5 arrived at the location when the fire was still present. They are equipped with all the safety gear, but one thing they didn’t carry was a fire extinguisher. If they carried it there, there won’t be a continuation the next day.
The team at last went to the terrace and verified again if anything needed to be done before leaving the spot. They got some information and left the spot with 5 packs of Mom’s magic biscuits, which we used to give to those who visit our home. There is a person in the team who is already not feeling well, came to fight with the fire, and my sibling dropped him off at the truck that is parked near the railway road.
A BIG SHOUTOUT TO THEM FOR TAKING THE REQUIRED ACTIONS, THOUGH THEIR HEALTH IS NOT WELL.
Day 2
I woke up around 8 am the morning, and my mother and siblings said that there is still smoke, which still exists. My sibling climbed through the ladder and I fetched water and he splashed it in the areas where the smoke was coming.
We both went to the terrace again and planned to cut out the branches and use a long stick to push away the dried leaves that hold the reason the spread and catch fire.
We shared the duty of cutting the branches, it took half a day to completely extinguish the fire. During that time, we faced a lot of injuries while cutting the branches since they consist of thorns. After that, rain came the next day and completely confirmed that there would be no more fire or smoke. Before the rain itself, birds started to come along with their family, which made a strong message from the universe that everything is normal.
Conclusion
